Refugee Awareness Week

During this week and a half, a range of student organizations and professors will come together and host events that bring awareness to the refugee and immigrant community. In a school fighting for justice, we often lack representation and information regarding their struggles. Come to our events, bring questions, bring friends and learn more about what's going on in our world.
These events are made possible by the Youth Justice Club (YJC), Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) , Students Without Borders (ESF) , The John Jay Women's Center for Gender Justice, NAMI on Campus, The Latinox Studies Department, Latin American Student Organization (LASO), John Jay Student Council, La Voz, The John Jay DREAMers, and the Social Justice Project.
